I am a fine art photographer living with my family in Guelph, Ontario. Over the last 10 years I have also lived and worked in Tanzania (East Africa) and England, travelling extensively throughout both countries plus South Africa, France, Germany and Switzerland.
I devote my free time to creating Portraits of Earth – the art in nature and all her moods. Besides offering photography workshops, I teach the Landscape Photography and Travel Photography courses at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Commercial photography has included a wide range of clients and jobs from photographing downhill skiing for Hershey Alpine to chicken barns for the Chicken Producers of Ontario. Most recently, I’ve been doing photography for Vortex Canada – a distributor of high-end spotting scopes, binoculars and gun scopes.
I’ve put together this blog and website to help people new to photography gain a better understanding of the craft and help develop the vision to make your photography more enjoyable and successful. I look forward to hearing from you – your questions, comments and suggestions are welcome!
